After a Thanksgiving break I've returned to college only to realize I really cant stand this place. There's nothing that appeals to me here any more and I'm the most satisfied when I'm drawing, which is something I can do now but almost certainty not next semester. I've only got two weeks of classes left but I just cant get myself excited about any of it.

Last week at Anthrocon, I was browsing the dealers den in my cowboy getup. This is less odd than it sounds because I like to always be in costume, and it's while I'm usually in fursuit when dressed as a cowboy, it's difficult to see much and thus makes browsing difficult. So, I was in my cowboy outfit which hasn't changed since about 2008, but one of my friends accompanying me was dressed as Rainbow Dash, and I got several comments asking if I was Braeburn. Since I already have the costume and the right color hair, I'll see what happens if I cosplay as Brae at Bronycon...

I repeat this question to you:
When following someone you don't know, is it expected or normal to have it be "relationship: friend," or is that considered creepy?

Back when I joined DA we didn't have these fancy distinctions between followers. You followed someone, and we liked it! Had to walk 12 miles in the snow to get to a computer with internet. Uphill both ways! You kids today.

I'm starting to think I should make a separate deviantart account specifically for my pony art...
